National walking trails run through the region, and there are also many other pleasant walks to enjoy.

There are a number of golf courses and as a rural area we offer many country sports and activities including shooting, fishing, quad trekking and horseriding.

Welshpool also has two leisure centres offering a range of activities, including swimming, squash and indoor bowling.
